50,000 Members

In May 2007 we started PureGrime as a small project on a small shared hosting server. We never expected to reach more than 100 members, but as time went past we grew bigger and bigger every day.

Today we hit the massive 50,000 members milestone. We are now averaging at 130+ members per day. We are one of the UK's biggest forums and this is an amazing feat for me as it was never anticipated. We operate this site because we love the technical challenge it brings to keep it online. I've had people contacting me amazed at how big the site is and wanting to know how we did it.

Today the site operates on two colocated servers owned by us. Respect to all members, donators and staff who help keep this site alive, and i hope we can celebrate the 100,000 members milestone in the future.
